Josh has been practicing law since 2008. A former felony prosecutor, he cut his legal teeth in the courtroom before joining Berner Law Group, where he practices exclusively family law. His background as a prosecutor informs a disciplined, trial-ready approach that positions his clients for strength from the outset of every case.
Josh is known for forceful, strategic advocacy in high-conflict matters. Josh earned his Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law, graduating cum laude, and received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington. He is also a veteran, having interrupted his education to serve in the United States Army as an infantry sergeant with the 101st Airborne Division following the events of September 11, 2001.
